Designers Mauricio Sanin and Kelly Durango of MOAK Studio have created a unique interactive table lamp. The Volé interactive lamp has a simple mechanism on top of it that looks like an anemometer. The top mechanism rotates when you blow air and acts as a switch to turn on or off the dim light.
From the designers, “Wind is a force that can be as subtle as devastating, it is nature’s engine and its changes generate different states. By blowing, we can be originating mild forces, tiny storms. Why not take advantage of this impulse and change the way we relate with objects that surround us? With a humble blow VOLÉ can turn on or off its dim light to generate introspective and warm environments.”
