Branco by Japanese interior and product designer Kunikazu Hamanishi is a two-seat folding sofa. The design of the sofa was inspired from deckchair. It is composed of a simple tubular frame and cushioned fabric with leather belts tightened at both ends.
From the designer, “The belts are not only the creating special features of the sofa but also holding the simple X shape frame functionally. The sofa comes flat-packed and are assembled at home, which makes the transportation and handling easier.”
