
South Korean designer Kim Myung Nyun has created a simple stool made of wooden boards connected by a single rope. The design signifies connection, a single rope line connects the wooden plane elements. There is no use of nails or adhesive.
The stool design was inspired from traditional Korean instrument, Jang Gu, a percussion shaped like a sand clock with two leather surface. The stool is made of maple wood and mountain rope from Edelwiss.
