Stockholm based practice Elding Oscarson have designed a house in the Swedish seaside town of Mölle. The upper part of the house is clad with oversized planks of Douglas fir and the lower part is entirely transparent. The house is situated on a terraced site surrounded by natural stone walls.
The transparent ground floor has living, dining and kitchen areas and a wood-burning stove in the middle. The upper floor has three bedrooms arranged around a lounge. The basement has another bedroom and a sauna. The two floors are connected by a spiral staircase.
