USA-based industrial designer Elvin Chu has designed the Kero Lamp. The design of the portable lamp was inspired by the traditional kerosene lamp archetype. The dimmable lamp embodies the transportable nature of the old kerosene lamps. From the designer, “Its oversized frame acts as a protective handle while tracing a familiar silhouette. Designed for digital lighting manufacturer Gantri, Kero is made to order by plant-based 3-D printing and finished by hand in California.”
