Stockholm-based designer Simon Morris has created Lyfe, a levitating indoor planter that allows you grow small herbs and other plants in mid-air. The 12-sided geodesic planter is molded from silicon and hovers over an oak base via magnetic levitation, the same technology used in the Bullet trains.

The planter rotates 360 degrees mid-air, providing sunlight exposure to the plants and benefiting Air Plants to absorb nutrients through the air. The Lyfe planter is fitted with a clever drainage system that allows the excess water to escape to a hidden, inner reservoir.
