Russian interior design and architectural studio Ruetemple have renovated an old garage and transformed it into a workshop for an architect. The old garage was located in the extension of a house in Moscow. The owner wanted it to become a study and workshop area for his daughter. The old false ceiling was removed to expose the beautiful wooden beam system.
A single furniture element located in the center forms different functional areas such as a bookcase, a desk, a sofa and a cough for relaxation. A rack with many shelves of different sizes was crated for storing plaster heads, paper, and various drawing tools. The interior of the garage was renovated using three types of materials, rough planed board in the walls, plywood furniture and parquet flooring.
