Whittle Away Storage Cabinets by Stoft Studio

Whittle Away by Sweden-based design firm Stoft Studio is a series of storage furniture consisting of a freestanding cabinet and a wall-mounted cabinet. The unique design of the furniture collection was inspired by the way bark peels away from a tree or layers of flaking old paint. The furniture series was created for the exhibition “What’s your DNA?”, presented during Dutch Design Week 2017. The storage cabinets are made of Pinewood with a hard wax finish and colored with natural algae paint.
